Transcending Barriers for International Business Ravenwerks

International Travel for Businesswomen

The World is a Book, and those who do not travel read only a page.  ~St. Augustine

Is International Business Travel different for women than it is for men?

We're conducting interviews of international business travelers to India, Asia and the Middle East (men and women) for our upcoming book of advice for women business travelers.

Women who travel want to know!

  • What do you wear?  What do you recommend (and not recommend?)
  • How do you pack?
  • Any issues with airports/security/customs?  Any advice?
  • Exercise – did you walk, run, use a hotel gym, or find some other way to get some exercise?
  • Personal safety and health- what do you recommend for exercise, prescriptions, immunizations, etc?
  • Greetings and introductions – anything we should know about? (Shake hands, don’t shake hands, sit or stand, gestures, etc.)
  • Icebreakers- what do you talk about?  How do you set people at ease?
  • What parts of doing business did you find the most challenging, and why

In exchange for a 90 minute interview (by email or phone) we'll feature a profile of each expert in the book and on our website. Contact Paula for more details.
