Michaela Broeckx Homegrown in a culturally diverse corner of Antwerp par excellence, Michaela first did Arabic & Middle Eastern Studies in Ghent, and then proceeded to Damascus, where she further fine-tuned her language and culture awareness skills at different institutions. Later, she went for additional MA degrees in Pedagogies and Culture Management – and hence moved to Muscat (Sultanate of Oman) to be a member of the Nawras (Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company) launch team. For the last few years, under the banner of Beyond Borders Training & Consultancy, Michaela has excelled as a language trainer, expat coach, training developer and technical trainer at a variety of clients in Belgium, Norway, France, the Middle East and more. |

Rinku Sood A post-graduate, Rinku has been in Retail Industry since 2001. She is currently working as a Category Manager with Lifestyle format of India's Biggest Retailer- Future Group. She has travelled to China Once upon a time she was an an active sports person but now personal interest includes Animal welfare & reading - both fiction & non-fiction but more inclined towards Philosophy and Spirituality. Her Creative quest has led her to learn Calligraphy and now she intends to pursue a professional course in writing. Some day she hopes to open a home for abondoned & stray animals, and to learn the richest language on earth- Sanskrit. |

Sigrid Steinschaden (Ph.D. University of Salzburg, Austria) has been working in the field of Higher Education for 10 years for an Austrian university network (Eurasia-Pacific Uninet) linking Austria to Central- and East Asia. From September 2008 on she is working at China Conservatory (Beijing) for a joint project (“Austrian-Chinese Music University”) established under the guidance of Eurasia-Pacific Uninet. |
