About the Online Community

Our online community consists of a web site and newsletter that serves a wide range of businesspeople from all walks of life- from students to CEOs in large companies and small.

The online community is a means for this diverse, inclusive group of people to “get together” for mutual assistance and support.  

The Web Site

The web site, www.ravenwerks.com,  consists of over 40 articles organized into the topics of Leadership, Teamwork, Best Practices, Marketing, Customer Service and Technology.   The web site receives approximately 1500-1700 visitors per day from over 100 countries.   The web site is also the gateway to our other services, including the newsletter, information about our books, and contact information to reach us.  The web site has won numerous Accolades & Awards from our readers.

The Newsletter

The newsletter is published monthly to an audience of over 1000 subscribers who have requested to receive it.   It is e-mailed free of charge, and contains a question and answer section (readers submit questions or business problems, and readers respond to them) an essay, and news and information about Ravenwerks recent activity, events, and new articles.

About Books

We currently have two books published- Taming the Dragons- 50 Essays from the Business World by Paula Gamonal; and It's All About The Journey - Finding Peace, Success and Fulfillment in the Corporate World by Paula Gamonal and John F. Williams.   Both are available through major online bookstores such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

About the Services

We provide services such as speaking engagements on topics of leadership, teamwork, and motivation.   We also offer facilitated workshops on teambuilding, project kickoffs and wrap-ups, conflict resolution, and other topics. About the Raven

Many people have asked us “what does Ravenwerks mean?”

Well, we can only reply that this is not the Edgar Allen Poe “Nevermore” variety of Raven, in fact it’s quite the opposite.

Hiking or mountain biking in Arches National Park in southern Utah, you’ll see ravens as a stark contrast to the red rocks and blue sky and occasional puffy white cloud.   The ravens are black, but iridescent- they contain all colors, depending on how the sun hits them.   They also soar high above the breathtaking scenery and take it all in.   You know they’re seeing the landscape from a very different point of view than us earthbound creatures.

Philosophically, we do the same- to see all the colors and possibilities in any situation, and to view the business landscape from a very different perspective.      

About the People

Although Ravenwerks is made up of the thousands of professionals, managers, executives and students that participate in our online community and our other services, the two faces “behind the scenes” that facilitate the flow of information are Paula Gamonal and John F. Williams.
